One of the best things about participating in the CAPA Marquee Awards is the opportunity to participate in professional theatre education activities throughout the year!
Broadway Master Classes
We will be holding FREE master classes for several of the Broadway in Columbus productions this season. All participating CAPA Marquee Awards schools will have the opportunity to sign up students for available slots.
Please note: All Broadway master classes are subject to the tour’s availability and therefore, are subject to change.
Workshops
In addition to working with Broadway touring artists, we are also holding a series of workshops with professional, local artists throughout the year.
College Day: Panel & Fair
Join us for College Day: Panel & Fair, a special event designed for high school students interested in pursuing theatre in college. Representatives from Capital University, Denison University, The Ohio State University, and Otterbein University will be on hand to share insights into their theatre performance and technical theatre programs.
The event will begin with a live panel discussion, where students and parents can ask questions directly to college representatives. CAPA will also provide curated questions to guide the conversation. Following the panel, attendees will have the opportunity to visit individual college booths, gather materials, sign up for more information, and engage in one-on-one conversations with each representative.
Current high school students and their parent/guardians are encouraged to attend!
